Fiyat Radar Privacy Policy

Fiyat Radar helps users track grocery prices, scan product barcodes, submit prices, create shopping lists, and optionally scan receipts for OCR-based price entry.

Data we collect

The app may collect or store:

• Account information such as email address and user ID
• Product and price submissions
• Market names entered by users
• Shopping lists created by users
• Followed products
• Receipt OCR text lines confirmed by users
• Receipt alias matching data used to improve product matching
• Optional receipt or price photos, if the user uploads them

Camera and images

The app uses the camera for barcode scanning, product price photo capture, and receipt OCR. Receipt OCR is processed on the device using Google ML Kit text recognition. OCR results are not saved automatically. The user must review and confirm matched products before price data is stored.

How we use data

We use stored data to:

• Show product price history
• Help users compare market prices
• Improve receipt line to product matching
• Maintain user shopping lists and followed products

Third-party services

The app uses Firebase services for authentication, database, and storage. The app may use Google AdMob to show ads.

User control

Users choose what prices, products, and receipt OCR matches they submit. OCR results are not saved without confirmation.
